Dr. Mok Oh

Dr. Mok Oh, with over 25 years in the technology sector and a decade in post-grad research, co-founded Foundation EGI in 2023. Previously, he was a Board Member, CTO, and Head of Product at Mercari, a Japanese unicorn IPO'ed in 2018. He was a Corporate VP at Samsung Electronics, managing three Groups: Global Business Development, Strategy, and Marketing for Software and Services. He has also been Chief Scientist at PayPal, EIR at North Bridge Venture Partners, and an Analyst at Andersen Consulting, and has founded several startups. Mok holds a Ph.D. from MIT, an M.S. from University of Pennsylvania, and two BAs from Oberlin College, and dozens of patents and publications. He is a proud husband and father of two, living in Los Altos, CA.
