PureCycle

PureCycle uses a patented dissolution recycling technology to purify waste polypropylene (PP). It is a plastic-to-plastic physical recycling process, similar to mechanical recycling. Unlike chemical recycling, mass balance credits are not needed. PureCycle’s PureFive™ recycled PP is comparable to virgin PP. The energy consumption is approximately 80% below virgin PP, and for our first European plant in Antwerp, Belgium the CO2 emissions are estimated to be >60% below virgin PP. FDA issued multiple LNOs for PureFive™ resin. PureFive™ resin may be used in food-contact articles under conditions of use A-H.
